Inspired by Crunchyroll’s own expressive glyph system, details in each icon are used to express enthusiasm and movement, to match the playfulness of the brand. This iconset extends the recent Crunchyroll rebrand seamlessly and unifies all touchpoints into a cohesive brand experience for Crunchyroll’s anime audience.

Elements from the Crunchyroll logo and typeface were used in the construction of each icon: the negative space between the eye/eyebrow and the curves and straight edge from the letterforms
